Ten European member associations has been chosen to receive support for the regional projects to be organized in the year of 2017.

This development activity has been running since 2008 and Badminton Europe has supported almost 100 projects in the past 9 years.

The Regional Project programme is by the Sport for All Commission, which aims to encourage Member Associations to collaborate.

By working together, the member associations joining the camp should form a development initiative to enhance the level of badminton in their region. The main goal is to develop member associations by encouraging and supporting international cooperation. So even though one member association is receiving the support, it will be beneficial to other neighboring member associations in the region.

The focus of the Regional Projects should be on the national junior players and should involve a minimum of 3 different nations.

The 2017 BEC Regional Projects are going to be organized by the Badminton Federations of France, Germany, Serbia, Norway, Faroe Islands, Slovenia, Cyprus, Latvia, Albania and Georgia.
