Positions for players

Badminton Ireland are currently looking for sparring players to come to their National Training Centre at Marino College in Dublin for a period of 2-4 weeks during the months of May, June, July or August. During the stay they can offer onsite accommodation, daily training twice a day with National Coach Irwansyah from Indonesia & Head Pathway Coach Dan Magee, where sparring will be against their national team players, in a high level environment. The National Training center at Marino College is a certified Badminton Europe training center, and the stay can help when applying for a Badminton Europe scholarship.

Head Coach-positions in Scandinavia and Germany
Uppsala KFUM Badminton Club Fyrisfjädern is the largest and most successful badminton club in Sweden with ambitious goals in the long and short term. Another Swedish club, Askim Badminton Club in Gothenburg is looking for a Head Coach to develop the club. Askim Badminton Club is a sports association comprising a wide range of players with all levels of activity, at the elite level they aim to be one of the top competitive clubs in Sweden.

BC Saarbrücken-Bischmisheim is seeking to hire a head coach with a projected start of the position as soon as possible. This position will implement new and current projects and is located in Saarbrücken, Germany. Key responsibility in this position will be to ensure continuous development of the Junior High-Performance Training Center. Additionally, complementing this Talent-Development program, we are aspiring to establish a national/international Senior High-Performance Training Center.

Cyprus Badminton Federation is seeking to hire National Coach – Full Time, to begin in the Fall of 2016. The coach is required to create and implement a programme that provides optimal conditions for Elite Players and top level Junior Players to compete on the highest level in Europe, and will work with the Elite Players of the Cyprus Badminton Federation and the selected Junior Players in the National Teams U19, U17 and U15. Tórshavn’s Badminton Association and Faroese Badminton Federation wish to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Head Coach and an Assistant Coach for the National Team.
