BWF Level 2 course in Spain

Oviedo City in north Spain will play host to a BWF Level 2 coach education course. This course is the highest level of coaching qualification currently available that is recognized by the Badminton World Federation.

Badminton Asturias is delighted to announce applications are now open for the BWF Level 2 Coach Education course. The course will take place on the below dates at (Spanish High Youth Perfomance Center in Asturias) Centro de tecnificación deportiva de badminton del Cristo.

  • Between 26th august and 11th September 2016 (Exact dates needs to be confirmed)

The course is open to any coaches that currently hold a BWF Level 1 coaching qualification. 
The course will be led by qualified tutor Fran Dacal and Javier Martinez.
 
Topics that are included on the course are as follows: 
How to Coach, Performance Factors, and Technical & Tactical Progressions, Annual planning, Psychology and physical elements.

Candidates must be able to construct and deliver annual training and competition plans, individual training plans and programmes underpinned by sports science principles.

Location: Centro de Tecnificación Deportiva del Cristo, Avda Julian Claveria s/n, 33006 Oviedo, Asturias

Accommodation: Available on Menendez Pidal  Youth Hostel (information silvia@badminton.as)

Course Cost: €250. Deposit €100 to be paid one month prior to course and remainder to be paid before start of course.
