Karoliine Hoim, womens singles player from Estonia, practiced for two weeks at the Badminton Europe Certificated Training Centre in Odense, Denmark. Karoliine applied and received a scholarship of Badminton Europe to practice in Denmark. She is also part of the SOTX Team Europe 2012.

My stay in Odense was great. During the two weeks everything was organized very well and I always felt like part of the group. The accommodations were perfect. I got my own room for myself and some of the players stayed in the same flat so there was always company. We had a kitchen so we could cook our own food. The best part was that the hall was only 5 minutes from the apartment.

The training were excellent and Lennart is a very good coach. He forces the player to think all the time and keeps the intesity up through the training. He also has a personal approach to each player. We practiced mostly defence as that was their main focus for 6 weeks period. I felt like I improved a lot even though I stayed only 14 days. I had also great sparring partners: Lene Clausen, Spela Silvester, Camilla Martens and many more!
I would definitely go and practice in Odense again!
