Shuttle Time was one of the development items that was presented at the 2014 Members Forum which was held in April, in Dublin, Ireland. Many of our Member Associations who were not familiar with the Shuttle Time concept showed interest to start up Shuttle Time in their country after the Forum.

This was a very good reason to organise the second BWF/BEC Shuttle time Trainer/Tutor course to help these federations. To educate physical education teachers to become Trainers or Tutors is the first step to make the implementation of Shuttle Time possible.

The German Badminton Federation (Deutscher Badminton Verband) was very interested to be the host for this course and therefore it was held in the Sportwelt center in Schenefeld, a city situated at the northwest border of Hamburg. A total of 12 participants from Germany, Estonia, Slovenia, Latvia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Armenia and Greece took part in the course.
