Shuttle Time Trainer’s/Tutor’s course

Badminton Europe is glad to inform you that we will organise another BWF / BEC Shuttle Time Trainer’s/Tutor’s course together with the German Badminton Federation.

Prerequisites for participants:

• Should be a coach and/or educator with high level presentation skills.
• Should be experienced in planning and delivering workshops and courses for adults.
• Should be a confident badminton player with a sound knowledge of the sport.
• May have coached badminton in a schools context.
• Must have a very good understanding of Shuttle Time (e.g. goals of the programme, course material and content), of the Teachers’ Manual, Lessons Plans for teachers, and Tutors’ Guidelines.

Member Associations who are not familiar with Shuttle Time should get in touch with BWF to receive all the resources and go through them before the start of the course.

Programme:

The course will be held on 24 October - 26 October 2014 in Schenefeld, Germany.

The course will start on Friday 24 October 2014, early in the morning, and finish on Sunday 26 October 2014 in the afternoon.

Participants are expected to arrive on Thursday 23 October 2014, and depart Sunday 26 October in the afternoon. Transport will be arranged from Hamburg International airport (Germany).

Support

Badminton Europe will cover the following (for up to 2 participants from each Member Association):
• Accommodation in a double room including breakfast ( 3 nights )
• 2 lunches (one on each course day)

Travel costs for the participants will not be covered by Badminton Europe. Travel related costs have to be covered by Member Associations or participants.

Registration:

All applications have to be send to us by our Member Associations.

The deadline to send in applications is 11 September 2014.

Badminton Europe will review the applications and CV’s and will confirm to the Member Associations their participation.

Please do not make any travel arrangements before receiving confirmation from Badminton Europe. Additional details about the venue and other arrangements will be communicated closer to the course.
