Badminton Denmark and Badminton World Federation will host the World Championship Coach Forum 2014 in Copenhagen August 29th and August 30th, during The World Badminton Championships.
 
The conference is for the dedicated and ambitious coach. All speakers are highly qualified and experienced experts in their specific areas and there will be opportunities to meet and discuss badminton with other highly experienced coaches in an international forum. The form will range from theoretical sessions to practical sessions on court.

• Men’s Doubles Training
• Talent Development
• Teaching Games for Understanding / Activity-based Learning
• Latest Badminton Specific Sports Science Research

There will be highly experienced and competent speakers at the forum and the form will alternate between theory sessions and practical sessions on court.

This international coach conference is for the dedicated and ambitious coach. All speakers are highly qualified experts in their specific areas and there will be opportunities to meet and discuss badminton with other highly experience coaches in an international forum.

 • Bo Ømosegaard, Manager of Talent Development, Badminton Denmark
 • Christian Møller Madsen, High Performance Coach and PhD-Scholar (physical training and testing of badminton players)
 • David Adler, postgraduate researcher in the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
 • Frank Dick, world renowned athletics coach, coach educator and motivational speaker
 • Hanno Felder, Professor at Saarland University, Germany
 • Kenneth Larsen, Associate teaching Professor at the sport study on The University of Aalborg and former national coach in Denmark
 • PG Fahlström, Professor in sports science and badminton coach for almost 40 years
 • Rexy Ronald Mainaky, former Olympic and world champion and high performance director of PBSI
 • Thomas Laybourn, former world champion and coach of young talents
 • Top Asian singles coach

Price and registration
Price for this event is DKK 1500 and includes participation fee and meals during the conference.
