The Badminton Europe Board of Directors will meet in Léuven to work on the future strategy for the confederation.
The Belgian Badminton Federation celebrates their 70th anniversary during the YONEX Belgian International this week in Léuven, Belgium, where the BEC Board of Directors will attend. While gathered in Belgium the Board will also be working on political matters, the main issue on the agenda being the Badminton Europe's strategic plan for the next four years.
- We are going to work on the strategic plan for 2021-2025 and I have big expectations where we want to see us at the end of 2025. Badminton Europe has been moving in the right directions for many years, and I want to continue that journey, Badminton Europe's president, Peter Tarcala said.
Something to celebrate
The Board of Directors will meet again before leaving Belgium on Sunday afternoon.
- I am very glad, that the Belgian federation invited us to come. It is an important weekend for Belgian badminton but also for Badminton Europe, Tarcala mentioned.
- I am looking forward to a great evening with our Belgian friends, who for sure have something to celebrate, he added.
