With just over one week before the start of the European Club Championships in Luxembourg, the teams have been nominated by the participating clubs.
Two European Champions, Gold medallists from the European Games in 2015, a European pair inside the top 10 of the World Rankings, are among the players named in the teams for the event.
Russian powerhouse heads to Luxembourg
Primorye Vladivostok have named their team for the European Club Championships which begins on Tuesday 2 July, and it is fair to say, it is a strong outfit.
Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov have been named in the strong team, as well as strong Women’s Doubles players Ekaterina Bolotova and Alina Davletova.
Also in the squad are Vladimir Malkov who impressed at this year’s Sudirman Cup in China and much more talent.
BC Chamble Oise has the potential to be strong
The team that the French club has selected for the European Club Championships, on its day, can beat anyone.
The strongest there is the Mixed Doubles pairing of Lauren Smith and Marcus Ellis who are inside the top ten of the World Rankings, and the second-best pair in Europe.
Also in the are Beatriz Corrales and Soraya De Visch Eijbergen, two players who can certainly cause a stir in the Women’s Singles category.
