After a great day of action, there are five players from Europe into tomorrow's finals at the Finnish Open, after Jones Ralfy Jansen and Peter Kaesbauer progressed from an eventful three-game match this evening.

Also into the finals is Julie Dawall Jakobsen and her fellow country people from Denmark in the Mixed Doubles, Mathias Bay-Smidt and Rikke Søby.

- Surprise!

Jones Ralfy Jansen and Peter Kausbauer from Germany have managed to beat Asian pairs all the way through to the final including today against a tough Chinese Taipei pair.

The pair have shown that they can win ugly as well, which has been key to them reaching the final two of the tournament.

The first match was pretty comfortable for the Europeans winning it 21-15, but with some lack of concentration, the match went to a third game, after losing the second 21-13.

With the all-important third game deciding who would be in the final, the Germans managed to find a burst of energy and took the match with 21-19 in the third game.

- Surprise! Like we said we solve after each match who we are going to play and we did not think that we would go all the way through to the final, especially after the tough first round, we are very happy! Jones Ralfy Jansen said.

- It is pretty good for the confidence especially for him, I see that he is getting braver, he is creating. Today was definitely our best match, Peter Kaesbauer added.
