Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin Seidel are playing at the Orléans Masters this week and are defending their title from 2018.
The tournament will progress from tomorrow to Sunday 24 March and has some of the world’s best players challenging for the title.

Germans going for two in a row?
In the Men’s Doubles, Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin Seidel will be playing at the Orléans Masters, challenging to defend their title after they won the tournament last year, beating their Malaysian Opponents Shia Chun Kang/Tan Wee Gieen in the final last year.
Lamsfuss/Seidel have started the BWF World Tour on form having beaten their personal best at the YONEX All England and then pushed the vintage pair from Indonesia, Mohammad Ashan/Hendra Setiawan to three games at the YONEX Swiss Open.
The pair will play Joshua Magee/Paul Reynolds from Ireland in the main draw, a tie which they have never played in their career, but the Germans will be the favourites with over 5o places between them in the rankings.
CoE representation
There is three players from Badminton Europe’s Centre of Execllence travelling to the Orléans Masters this week, covering three of the five categories.
Milan Ludik is in the main draw for the Men’s Singles and will play against Jacob Nilsson from Sweden while Kate Foo Kune will be playing in the main draw in Women’s Singles against Choirunnisa Choirunnisa from Indonesia.
There is also representation in the qualification stage of the tournament with, Milan Dratva playing in both Men’s Singles and Mixed Doubles.
The Slovakian will play against Dimitar Yanakiev from Bulgaria while in the Mixed Doubles Dratva with his partner Martina Repiska will be against William Villeger/Sharon Bauer from France.
Dratva arrived in Holbæk at the beginning of 2019 and is now one of the more experienced players among a growing group, on both a permeant and temporary basis at the CoE.
