Viktor Axelsen is back to world no. 1 on the men’s singles world ranking list.

After confidently leading the men’s singles world ranking list for 28 weeks in a row, the Dane went one position down last week, giving the place to Kidambi Srikanth (India). However, this week Axelsen is back to being no. 1 with 75470 points.

Denmark’s Anders Antonsen moved one spot up to occupy position no. 15. Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus climbed two spots, standing on position no. 18.

England’s Rajiv Ouseph is no. 21 this week, one spot up compared to last week. Brice Leverdez (France) moved up for one spot, currently occupying position no. 24.

Mark Lamsfuss: We want to climb higher

Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin Emil Seidel (Germany) climbed one spot up to occupy position no. 31 on the men’s doubles world ranking list.

-It feels good to be back on that level but we want to climb higher. We are not satisfied with this ranking but we are on track as we showed in Orleans.

-The next months we just want to play our best badminton and climb higher in the world ranking. Our main focus is on the European Championships and we are in shape, Mark Lamsfuss tells Badminton Europe.

Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock (England) climbed one spot up to occupy position no. 9 on the mixed doubles world ranking list.
