Seven Europeans qualified for Shenzhen

Seven European players have qualified for the BWF Superseries Finals in Shenzhen, China. The 500.000 Dollars event will take place from 12 to 16 December 2012 in the Chinese city with more than 12 million inhabitants. The European squad include Juliane Schenk of Germany and Tine Baun of Denmark in the singles category, Olympic silver medalists Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen (Denmark) in the men's doubles, Malaysia Open champions Kamilla Rytter Juhl/Christinna Pedersen (Denmark) in the women's doubles event and Olympic bronze medal winners Joachim Fischer/Christinna Pedersen (Denmark) in the mixed doubles.

The BWF World Superseries Finals is the final for the OSIM BWF World Superseries, where the top eight in each of the men’s and women’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles disciplines (with a quota of two players or pairs per country for each discipline) on the World Superseries standings will battle for a share of the USD500,000 prize money.
